Why is it STILL the Best Time to Invest Now?
The robust OFW remittances, the BPO and Tourism industries with growth rates of 6.2%, 22% and 11% respectively are seen to further boost the growth of the economy in the years to come.
NOW is still the perfect time to invest money in our own country. The Philippines is the fastest growing economy this year and is also expected to be the 6th fastest in the world in the coming years.*
Tragedies have beset us this year, with the Super Typhoon Yolanda being the most recent one. Even so, the Philippine Stock Market is still going up. The outlook remains positive in the long term.
I love long term positive outlooks. So do others who understand long term investments :)

Regions with Lowest Inflation Rate in the Philippines
Which PH regions have lowest inflation rates?
MINDANAO has the highest inflation rate in the Philippines while NCR and Ilocos have the lowest in the region.
MINDANAO has the highest inflation rate in the Philippines while NCR and Ilocos have the lowest in the region.
What's the implication? Kung nags-save ka or may investment sa banks, cooperatives, mutual funds etc., make sure that your chosen investment vehicles earn more than the inflation rate (which is your money's purchasing power)
Sa NCR, dapat higher than 3.7% ang return ng pera mo and in Mindanao, especially in CARAGA and ARMM, dapat higher than 6%
Kase kung hinde, lugi ka, friend. I will post more on overcoming inflation later on.
What is a Wealth Wingman?
I am a financial adviser and for about a year I have been posting about wealth management and of course, financial advice on my personal Facebook account. I have decided to create a separate blog just for the purpose of putting my thoughts on the matter in one place.
I am no guru. There are people I look up to for that and I am going to share them with you too. I am just your simple next-door person who wears a lot of hats (mummy, serial entrepreneur, teacher...) but who happens to be passionate about sharing with you what I learned (and will learn) about finances. Especially in the Philippine setting.
I am no coach either. Although I am hoping I would be. For now, I am your wingman. As in a pilot who supports another in the potentially "dangerous flying environment" of investments. Or the friend you take with you whenever you need support in approaching potential financial partners.
